Hi everyone
Who am I – I am just another one of those ordinary people leading an ordinary existence. A happily married mum of two, a career woman out of compulsion, I wish every single day that I would hit the jackpot and be able to do things that I really want to do! While I do have a lot of interests that I pursue, I can’t claim to be particularly great at anything I do. Unfortunately, I don’t think I am cut out for greatness of any kind!! My excuse is that I don’t have time to pursue my interests!! I try to work around my awful routine to do things that excite me like singing, organising events, making jewellery, anything that is a bit out of the ordinary. Blogging is my most recent area of fascination.
There is a voice within every one of us that wants to be heard. Hopefully this will be a medium in which I can voice my opinions to anyone who cares to listen and truly exercise my freedom of speech!!
I look forward to having fun and would like to thank anyone who bothers to read my ana’s worth (an ana for those of you who don’t know is a denomination of the Indian Currency – rupee, paisa and ana). Ana’s are worth absolutely nothing and in my typical self effacing style, I’ve given minimal value to my thoughts or views!! Rather my views in isolation amount to nothing is what I am trying to say I guess.
Hopefully I will have the time to make this worthwhile and meet lots of interesting people in the process!

well you now have one regular visitor
I came across your site when i was searching for kurunthogai translation in english. After reading your sangam section i moved on to other pages. I became your fan ..
.. seriously! … especially your writing style .. keep writing and inspire us! …
Hi there .. I am not sure I deserve a ‘fan’ but THANK YOU!! With the pressures of a full time job, blogging does become a casualty but if I even have one reader, I promise I will write .. please do keep reading
I will
. The thing is i never understood or liked purananuru or kurunthogai in my school days .. that is like 10yrs ago. I landed into pathinemelkanaku when i was reading about a archaeological finding in thirunelveli. Felt that i missed so much, but not going repent on it ..
Never too late .. no need to repent …
